Modela’s deployment in the UK industrial ecosystem continues steadily. A few weeks ago, our company received confirmation of its membership in the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC).
IBioIC is a dynamic organization committed to facilitating and enhancing collaboration among industry, academia, and the public sector to propel the global adoption of biotechnology processes and products. In pursuit of this goal, IBioIC provides state-of-the-art expansion facilities, promotes the development of talent, offers access to essential funding, and champions Scotland’s unique strengths and assets.
IBioIC currently has over 150 member organisations working in Scotland, as well as other parts of the UK and Europe, joining forces to find innovative solutions to contemporary challenges. These solutions range from medical biotechnology companies focused on protein production to those developing green alternatives in the field of biomanufacturing, harnessing raw materials from agriculture, the sea and forestry in sustainable manufacturing processes.
